In the afternoon, explore the contrasting character of northern Bogotá, from the contemporary surroundings of Santa Bárbara to the historic charm of Usaquén.

Journey into the Cundinamarca highlands to discover one of Colombia’s most extraordinary attractions: the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá.

Located deep within a former salt mine, approximately 180 metres underground, this remarkable sanctuary has been carved into the rock by generations of miners.

Follow the atmospheric underground route past illuminated chambers and the Stations of the Cross before reaching the impressive central nave, where dramatic lighting highlights the scale and beauty of the salt-carved architecture.

Back above ground, explore the historic centre of Zipaquirá, with its colonial façades, traditional buildings and lively main square.

Discover the town’s heritage and enjoy a taste of regional flavours as local life unfolds around you. The contrast between the cathedral’s cool, subterranean surroundings and the colourful streets above offers a fascinating perspective on the region’s history and craftsmanship.
