Arrive in Auckland and check into your central city accommodation for an early rest and acclimatisation.

Choose to visit Viaduct Harbour, the Sky Tower, or enjoy a boat cruise on the harbour.

Meet your guide and begin your journey south into the lush Waikato region. Explore the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set near Matamata, then travel on to Rotorua, where the evening is filled with geothermal wonders and rich Māori cultural experiences.

Journey south with stops at the powerful Huka Falls and, if you choose, the steaming landscapes of Craters of the Moon. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Taupō to see the remarkable Māori rock carvings, then continue into Tongariro National Park, arriving at the foot of Mt Ruapehu.
